Most agencies have to find a reason to talk about home. Ours is in the name.
Hác Sá is a beach on the southern shore of Coloane, in Macau. The name means black sand. It is where our founder, Mandy Chan, spent her childhood — and it is still the word that most brings home to mind for her.
When she started this agency, she named it after that beach. Not as decoration, but as a standard to be held to: if the business carries the name of the place that means home, then it has to behave like it understands what home is worth.
It is not an abstract idea in this part of Sydney. Many of the people we work with have also come from somewhere else and are building a home here. That is the same story our founder has lived — which is why we take it seriously rather than sentimentally.
Written as behaviours, not adjectives — so you can hold us to them.
We look after every property the way we would look after our own home. That means noticing the small repair before it becomes a big one, presenting a place properly rather than adequately, and never letting something slide because it isn’t ours.
The propertyOur landlords get honesty ahead of comfort — the realistic rent, the early warning, the call we would rather not make. Family tells you the truth and then helps you deal with it. We manage other people’s investments as if the returns were our own.
Landlords & investorsA tenant is not a transaction, and a buyer is not a commission. Both are looking for somewhere to belong. We answer the call, explain the process, and remember this is one of the biggest moves most people make.
